Since the time I was a child, I have known I was connected to something that was way bigger than just me. I attended a Methodist church as a child. My mother introduced me to Unity and New Thought principles when I was 16 years old and I immediately felt like I was home. Unity ignited in me a passion for truth ever since.
For over 40 years, I have had a desire to further understand my own divinity by exploring and playing with spirituality and God and then share that passion with others. This has led me to study several different teachers, masters, spiritual paths and understandings.
As a result, I have attended and taught more workshops and Sunday talks then I can remember. I love children and spent 9 years working with the Youth Of Unity(High Schoolers). I have spent 9 years serving on boards, including three as president. I have considered it an honor to have been in service to Unity and the community as long as I have been able to and am looking forward to continuing.

For nearly 15 years, Bill has shared his time, talents, wisdom, and heart with our Unity family. Always willing to step up and lend a hand wherever he is needed — on the Board, in the kitchen, on committees, on the platform, as a greeter, with our youth, and even drawing on his real estate experience to help us secure the building we now call home.

For years, Sharon has generously shared her time and talents with Unity. She played an integral role in helping the newly combined church get up and running, serving as Office Administrator, coordinating with Reverend Mike, and helping establish our digital presence. A spiritual healer, Sharon also shares her wisdom and experience through classes such as Pathways to Healing and as a skilled Reiki practitioner (leading a monthly Open Reiki gathering).
Outside of her many contributions to Unity, Sharon enjoys gardening and exploring the teachings and works of various spiritual leaders—often while curled up with a good book and a kitty in her lap.

Jamie moved to Grand Rapids with her family in 2023 after spending many years out west (Seattle, Colorado, and Arizona). As Office Administrator, she helps hold down the fort by coordinating events, managing the building, organizing records, and creating weekly publications, announcements, and other behind-the-scenes details that help keep things running smoothly. She takes great pride in serving such a loving and welcoming community.
Outside of the office, Jamie plays violin in a community orchestra, is an avid pickleball player, and loves spending time cuddling her two long-haired Chihuahuas.
